Yes it takes a bit of force to remove it, because it was designed that way.

As you can see from the picture there is an opening at the top. If it did not take some force to remove, your phone would simply pop out of the holster as you walk/run/skip rope, (whatever activity) you happen to be doing

This holster is designed to stay attached while you talk on the phone. All buttons/ports are accessible while the phone is attached to the holster.

I had a problem with this holster design. I ended up breaking the holster when trying to remove the phone when attached to my belt.

This is another Holster i purchased for my LG Dare. i have always wanted this holster, but the price was too high i think it was around $15.00.

so i see it on Amazon.com for $3.99 and purchased it. it takes soo much force to try and slide the phone in.

impossible to pull the phone out of the holster with one hand. why they did this i have no clue.

i cant use it, because it is impractical. Dont buy this Holster!
