Rii Mini Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard for Nokia Symbian S60/Windows Mobile 5.0 Cellphones
Backlit keys (A must have feature for Home Theater PC enthusiasts Press Fn + F1 to light up)
Small form factor.
Even lighter than the diNovo Mini.
Built in laser pointer (although I don't know anyone who needs a laser pointer in their living room)
The Fn keys light up also, unlike the diNovo Mini.
The orientation of the keyboard can be changed to optimize one hand function (Press Fn + Alt).
Now the negatives:
Awkward design you will have to stretch out your right thumb a little far to reach the keys diNovo makes it completely natural (Don't get me wrong, its not a deal breaker, I can compromise with that if I am paying only half the price of diNovo).
The touch pad is too small to navigate across some applications if you are used to the large, circular touch disk of the diNovo mini, you will immediately notice the lack of real estate available on the Rii keyboard's touchpad. You will have to drag across the touch pad multiple times to get from one corner of the screen to the other. Again, something I can compromise with.
The user manual is too short and missing a lot of information about important functions of the keyboard (how to light up the keys/ change orientation, etc). This again is not a big deal.
Now the reason why I am thinking I should have stayed with my diNovo mini. After you turn off the keyboard, and turn it back onit takes a good 20-30 seconds to reconnect to your computer. It may not sound a lot, but try sitting idle in front of your computer for 20 seconds when you want to look something up, or skip part of a movie. And you never know if the keyboard is malfunctioning and needs to be paired again with the computer. Another problem I have is that there is no button to simply connect the keyboard Most bluetooth devices have a button dedicated for the "connecting" after the device has been disconnected (it does have a bluetooth button to pair for the first time you may press it but the keyboard will enter pairing mode and you will have to pair it again instead of "connecting"). Just to be fair I am using my own bluetooth adapter and not the one that came with the keyboard.
Another strong point which goes against this keyboard is the bluetooth performance. I have noticed that I have to hold it at certain height and certain locations where the cursor is most responsive to my thumb's movements. Hold it while sitting on my couch and within line of sight of the adapter = good performance; hold it while I am laying down on my couch, and not in line of sight of the adapter = horrible performance I know bluetooth does not require to be in line of sight to function but performance level drop several notches when I move away form the line of sight.
The biggest point perhaps is that this purchase is more like a gamble I have looked through many websites and haven't found any information on contacting the manufacturer or where to register the product. There is also no information on the warranty of the item, even in the User manual. If it breaks, there is not much you can do other than throwing it out.
On the other hand, my diNovo was approved for a replacement within 10 minutes when I called Logitech Tech support. They didn't even verify if it was still under warranty, or asked for receipts. On top of that they provided me with a shipping label to send the diNovo in. I think now I know why their pricetag is higher than the Rii.I have 2 of these. I got it originally to use with my phone & tablet when streaming video to a TV via hdmi. Then my son snagged it to try with his htpc setup, and after some issues with the bt stack on his computer ( this was a windows issue, not the keyboards)' it worked there to, and I got another for him

I use this with my Motorola Xoom tablet computer. Paired on first try and stays paired. Tested the range and was amazed, works to about 45 feet, and can penetrate one wall! (not saying that's practical, but it is a testament to the good range). It is small, but the feel of the keys is good, and the track-pad works great, especially for its small size.
Has built in battery that lasts me about a month or two with light use. Recharges by plugging into USB port on computers with included cable. I purchased a cheap USB cigarette lighter adapter and can now charge in my truck also. Charging port on keyboard is Mini-USB.
Very Satisfied!it works as described! The price is perfect for the product as it is not expensive! It works just fine! I RECOMEND!!Great Product use it to play game from the couch like call of duty through my mac and long battery life.

I fly internationally from time to time, and I need to be able to power my entertainment devices on those 17-20-hour flights around the globe. Some aircraft have standard USA-style power outlets on some seats... others have "cigarette lighter" adaptors... but most (in my experience) have what's called an "EmPower" port.My laptop has an "EmPower/Cigarette" charger... but most devices don't, it does get tedious having a full laptop on your tray table for the entire flight. I have a little portable media player... an Archos 5, with a 250GB hard drive in it, with my entire music/recorded-book library, quite a few books on PDF, and a number of DVD movie transfers. But, being a hard-drive-based device rather than a flash-memory-based device, it fairly sucks down the power, especially when the display is in full-time use. 3 hours of display-based use on a charge is about normal. (12 or so for music-only, though.)
Also, I'd sure like to be able to charge my cell phone on the flight... or charge my GPS, or so forth. And so I needed a way to power these devices on a plane.
My solution is one of these devices, with a 2-port USB power outlet plugged into it, and the appropriate USB cables. My cigarette-lighter USB device puts out plenty of power, but I needed a way of getting the power from the EmPower port to the device itself. This is a fine device for this purpose.
The main concern I have with this device is that it's pretty "bare-bones" in construction. There are no spring-loaded features... no retaining bosses... nothing. It's basically a 12-14V EmPower plug, wires going from that plug, and a conductive "pin" and "sheath" inside of the cigarette lighter adaptor portion. I'd been hoping for a better "sheath" (with embossed retaining grooves, and not simply "rolled" in place), and an actual spring-loaded "pin" for the adaptor pin.
The main concern I have is that I doubt that this device will hold up for hundreds or thousands of "insertion/removal" operations at the "cigarette lighter" end. Fortunately, I don't plan on removing/inserting the USB plug very often, so I should be OK. Your mileage may vary, however.
I have also ordered one of these from Magellan's... they're cheap, so I can afford to compare. I suspect that the Magellan one is slightly higher quality... I'll append this review if I find that to be the case.Item worked as described. Only issue is connection at lighter end. Used an elastic to keep them together. Although doing this does prevent item separating if you forget to unplug it.

Some people had trouble with drivers but mine installed under Win7 64-bit native drivers and seems to work just fine. This is an EXCELLENT modem!! - This product is for Apple iPad 3rd generation and iPad 2.
- Micro Solution's AF (Anti-Fingerprint) protective film is the highest-quality glossy film for Apple iPad 2 from Japan. It repels fingerprints effectively, and keeps the beautiful images on iPad's high resolution screen. The size of the film is slightly smaller than iPad's screen, to make it easier to apply.
- Our film is not thick, but it is hard enough to guard against most casual scratches. Our film has anti-static treatment, which repels dirt and dust in addition to fingerprints. Our film is not glue-based, so even when you remove it, you will find no residue on the LCD surface.
- This product comes with a protective film, a microfiber cloth and 2 sheets of lint/dust remover. Our protective films are made of excellent quality in Japan by Micro Solution. More information on this and other Micro Solution products can be found at microsolutionusa.com.
- Instructions are in Japanese. If you have any problem applying this product to iPad, please go to our Website for instructions in English. We use eco-friendly simple packaging for all our products.
I've used a variety of screen protectors from the cheap-and-common "Made in China" ones to the premium ZAGG ones; and as with everything it boils down to what you want from the screen protector. My review is based primarily on -
1) Protection of the screen
2) Cost
3) Ease of installation (alignment, dirt/debris minimization...etc.)
4) Support
5) Product quality
Pros:
-Pre-cut for iPad2 & iPad (3rd gen.) camera, buttons...etc
-Finger smudge reduction by approx 40-50%
-Full 8.5"x11" microfiber cleaning cloth
Cons:
-Cost approximately $20
-Difficult to install without getting debris under the film/screen-protector
-You only get one (1) change to put it on the iPad properly no mulligans
-Material quality only nominally better than the "Made in China" ones
-All installation instructions in Japanese
Unknowns:
-I didn't interface with the support staff, especially seeing as every single piece of text in the package was in Japanese, I couldn't without translating.
Conclusion:
I think this product is merely "okay." It does primarily what it was pitched to do, reduct finger smudges; but that's a very hard thing to quantify (my estimate above is merely my ballpark guess from about a month's use). It lacks severely in the ease of installation arena, especially compared to ZAGG products which give you multiple attempts (unlimited with fluid/water?) for re-application. The extremely large microfiber cloth is nice, but why would I need a grossly oversized screen cleaner cloth if my screen protector prevents or severely reduces finger smudges? Seems suspect to me. I'm by no means a klutz when it comes tech peripheries, and application of this screen protector truly disappointed me with the amount of debris I had to live with stuck underneath the film; let alone I had to guess considering all instructions were in Japanese.
Verdict:
-If all you want is something to prevent scratches ==> buy a "Made in China" pack for dirt cheap
-If you want a nice screen protector for your expensive gadget ==> consider using ZAGG products
-If you want to "reduce" the amount of finger smudges on your screen ==> buy this product
Post-Purchase Perceived Value:
I feel that this product should be in the $7-10 ballpark, not $21.
Disclaimer:
I am in no way affiliated or sponsored by ZAGG or anyone else mentioned in this review. I am an individual who purchased this product and felt compelled to share my own personal opinions and interpretations of this product for the betterment and knowledge of the Amazon consumer base. This my second purchase. The first one is for my iPhone 4, which is amazingly easy to install, bubble free~ so when I got my iPhone 4s I placed this order right away, alone with 2 iPad protector for our iPads. Impressive, good quality. I was worried at first because the iPad screen is much bigger which means much more difficult to install. But I was wrong. :) it is a little more work, but not big deal.
One hint: if you find any dust under protecort while you already put it on, just put the cleaning sheet(the addhesive one, not the cloth) on your protector and lift, the protector will be lifted up, and then use another cleaning sheet (as they provided 2 which is awsome!) to clean the iPad screen, or even the protector itself, and then just put the protector down, it will be all set. :D

SanDisk SDDR-95-A15 xD / SM Reader

- Easy to use; just drag and drop your files
- Saves batteries; let an ImageMate Dual Reader (not your portable device) transfer your files

The only disappointing thing about this purchase was Amazon.com. The reader arrived in a severely tampered-with package. The entire back compartment that houses the USB cable had been cut open and was dangling, and the entire supposed-to-be sealed plastic rim that surrounds the package was cut off. Luckily the reader didn't appear to have been tampered with, and I'm assuming that maybe the cable was swapped out or this was a return. However, whatever the reason, there is no excuse for Amazon to ship out a new item in this condition. There is no way that someone could have overlooked this, other than simple lack of concern. Out of the 10+ purchases I have made with Amazon, this is the first one that has disappointed me.

I already had an 8-in-1 reader and didn't realize that it couldn't read xD. You see I'm new to the digital imaging market and just bought a new digital camera. It turns out I needed an xD reader/writer and the SanDisk 95 fit the bill. The price for one of those CF/xD adapters was too much, the same goes for the USB/xD adapter and the PCMCIA/xD adapter.
I needed something inexpensive (so that if it dies in the field, I can buy a new one w/o remorse), compact and travels easily with the camera.
So far the performance is admirable. This was the last issue that was USB2. Early issue drives were USB1. Works perfectly for those of us still using Smartmedia. This is a great little gizmo. It has a slot to transfer photos from both an Olympus SM and a Fuji XD card. I use both an Olympus camera and a Fuji for low light/museum photos. Yes, I know they are not the latest as cameras go, but they still take great photos. I bought the Sandisk for use while traveling, as my desktop has the slot built in. I am not a techie, but you don't have to be to use this device. There was no software to install, I just plugged in the USB and it worked straight away. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product.

PalmOne Portable Keyboard for Palm m125, m130, i705, and m500 Series Handhelds
- Innovative design weighs just 8 ounces and folds up to save space; no batteries required
- Full-size keys for true touch-typing
- Take notes, write e-mail, create spreadsheets, and more
- Compatible with Palm m125, m130, i705, and m500 series handhelds
1. Price: The keyboard can be pricey (current retail price is three-quarters of the current retail price of an m105), but, if you're a student or find yourself in situations requiring you to take extensive notes, it's more than worth shelling out the cash. Amazon sells for a great price, so buy from here as opposed to retail stores.
2. Durability: I am a sophomore in college, and I use my Palm and its keyboard to take notes every single day. My keyboard has never been damaged, although I must note that it could break if you're not careful. Since it is a folding model and not one solid piece of machinery, the keyboard could snap if bent the wrong way. You also need to use this keyboard on a flat surface, as other reviewers have noted. If you don't have a desk nearby, though, just prop the keyboard up on a clipboard, notebook, textbook, etc. It's not that big of a hassle.
3. Ease of use: The biggest complaint about PDAs is the pain of using Graffiti to enter data into your device. Graffiti is indeed tiresome; I don't know how many times my Palm has incorrectly identified letters, requiring me to delete and re-enter. Very time-consuming, especially if you're taking notes during a lecture! Obviously, this keyboard eliminates the problem. I don't know about the average joe, but I type a heck of a lot faster than I can write with Graffiti, or even write with a traditional pen and paper. Taking notes in class is a breeze with the keyboard-no hand cramps, no crossing out errors, no scribbling in the margins because your teacher forgot to mention something earlier... It's great.
4. Quick copies: As others have mentioned, after you take notes using the keyboard, simply HotSync your data with your PC and print. Eaaaaaasy and fast. When friends at school are sick and miss class, they don't have to copy notes from others by hand-I just print them off a copy of mine.
5. Portability: This keyboard is very, very portable and surprisingly compact. The keyboard is broken into four parts, loosely connected. Just slide the clasp to pop open the keyboard, unfold, slide the outside two pieces along the connecting tracks until they lock with the inside two, and stick your PDA in the cradle. Ok, maybe it sounds complicated without the keyboard in front of you, but it's incredibly easy. When the keyboard is folded and closed, it's just a bit bigger than the PDA itself. Truly awesome.
6. Coolness: Finally, I have to mention the "cool" factor. I must say I enjoy the stares I get from classmates the first time I whip out this gizmo. It's a great way to break the ice with new people, and it makes you seem cutting-edge when everyone else takes out a pen and paper for lectures.
I give this product 4 stars out of 5 because of its price and the potential for breaking. I do point out once more, however, that Amazon has a great price for this keyboard. Also, I do acknowledge that there might not be an affordable way to make a sturdier folding keyboard. I would suggest to Palm that they include some sort of small, sliding plastic pieces on the underside of the folding pieces to perhaps provide some sort of braces so the keyboard couldn't bend the wrong way. Other than these minor flaws, this is a solid investment. Parents, get your kids this great tool.
Buy PalmOne Portable Keyboard for Palm m125, m130, i705, and m500 Series Handhelds Now
The Palm Keyboard is a great device for enhancing one's productivity. Here are five ways I use it all of the time:1) Data Input -Here's the obvious. The Palm keyboard is usable for inputting data into all of the major Palm applications; calendar, address book, memo, to-do list and e-mail. Typing is always faster -and more accurate. (No surprises here.)
2) Word Processing and Printing -This one isn't so obvious. If you add Docs to Go (from Dataviz) on to your Palm, this will enable you to modify and compose new MS Word documents directly on your PDA. If you also add either BtPrint or IRPrint (from ISComplete.com), you can then print these documents to any number of Bluetooth or infrared capable printers (such as HP's 995 for Bluetooth, or HP's 350, 990, 995, or 1315 printers for IR). Syncing with your PC becomes less necessary. And why lug around a heavy laptop to word process when the Palm and Palm keyboard are as easy to carry as two small paperback novels?
3) Address Book -Here's a fun one. Open the address book and type in the first 3-5 letters of the name you're seeking and hit "enter." And, voila! You're there! I use the Palm keyboard when I have a lengthy list of people to call. (Scrolling with the stylus is, by comparison, very slow -and for the birds!)
4) E-mails and Voice Mails -Here's another less obvious one (but a biggie!). I use my Palm keyboard to write down information -and action steps -while reading or listening to e-mails and voice-mails, respectively. Then I delete them (or never look at them again). Why print out, file, shuffle and re-read or re-listen to e-mails and voice mails? This is so time consuming. With the Palm keyboard, I can record more info than on a note pad, and I can put my next steps directly into my to-do list so I won't forget. (To make this even easier, I always listen to voice mail using a speakerphone -my company's at work, and my Siemens 4200 2.4 ghz at home. All of the Siemens 4200 series phones have a speakerphone built into both the base and remote units. Very handy.)
5) Taking Notes in Meetings -This is another biggie! Why use paper and pen -when typing into one's Palm is so much faster? The data also becomes much more usable. After the meeting, I can print out a hard copy if I'd like to file the notes or distribute them phsycially. I can also upload them to my PC (normally as a MS Word document) if I want to file or disseminate them electronically. If you're worried about the "geek factor" of taking the keyboard to meetings -there isn't one! The Palm keyboard is an engineering marvel. I get only "oohs" and "aahs" when I unfurl it. (Taking a laptop to a meeting -now, that's geeky!) Other's are even more impressed when I arrive -without any paper!
In terms of computer power, the Palm is really a mini-PC -but hardly anyone uses it as such! The slow speed of data input (with a stylus), I believe, is a major factor. With this remarkably compact keyboard, the Palm can become a major productivity-enhancing tool. See how much faster you can go! I highly recommend it!Ok, i lvoe this thing. I can type 80 wps and can tke notes maybe around 40 wps with a pen or pencil. I always hate sitting at a lecture and missing stuff cause I can't write it down fast enough. This thing solves my problem. I type the stuff, and cna READ IT! When I write notes really fast they are illegiable, this thing solves all of my problems!
It is light, small, and very efficiant. You'll love it.
Want PalmOne Portable Keyboard for Palm m125, m130, i705, and m500 Series Handhelds Discount?
I was considering buying a laptop, but hated the weight and the thought of protecting it from theft. I take this to meetings/seminars/mountains and write there. The batteries last a long long time on the Palm. If you take notes even moderately often, you'll thank yourself. I wish I'd had this in grad school. You can sync to your computer and it goes into outlook, then save to whatever file you want, and voila, computer word processed document.I waited for several months before I finally purchased this keyboard. First, I tried to save money with the attachable thumb keypad for the i705. This turned out to be quite a waste of money compared to the benefits of the full-size Portable Keyboard. I used to slowly enter one letter at a time with the stylus, then with the thumb keypad. Now, I am surprised at how fast I am typing with the Palm Keyboard. Not only is it fast and easy to set up, but it is also VERY high quality. I actually like it as much or better than my home computer keyboard. If you regularly type large amounts of text into your Palm, then you should definitely save yourself a headache and buy this keyboard. Don't be surprised if you are able to type at the same speed as you would on a regular computer keyboard. The only complaint that I have is that it does not lock open. For instance, if you want to use it on your lap, you would need to find a book or something flat to put it on.
