The Leather is top quality and has a very tight fit which is what I wanted. The multiple angle stand feature works great. I have had this product for several months and have traveled and used it for protecting my IPad. The case doesn't feel flimsy and is rigid enough for the various angle positions but light enough that it does not add additional weight. All the ports are aligned corrected and the leather is patterned so it looks clean after lots of handling. Oils and spills wipe right off, but I did catch the spill immediately. I keep my IPad in the case all the time and do not find it "in the way". Love it!

I almost gave this case four stars because the leather is kind of hard I believe it's a bonded leather as it's not very plush or cushy (note that it's called "Fiber Leather" ... C'mon now SHIELD) but I realized that that's really no reason to downgrade this great case. I can't tell you how many reviews and websites I visited looking for the right case. I looked for over a month before settling on this one. It is sleek, the ipad fits snugly and the screen is not covered up whatsoever by the bits that hold it in place. The positioning options are great (although a vertical option would have been fab), but what sold me on this case was the stylishness of it. I found many of the standard leather ipad cases boring and generic. I love the silvery-white because it's an excellent option over boring black or a color I'm not going to always want. I also really like the logo on the front. Very cool. Super happy with this product and highly recommend it.

this case is a great addition to my ipad and stays on my ipad better than any other. it is an elegant looking case and feels like a natural addition to my ipad while providing real protection. the only reason it does not have five stars is that it at times tends to not hold its place when standing on the little ridges it has in order to stay in position. this is a minor drawback however

I purchased this case a month ago. I have recommended it my friends/family because of the durability, and versatility of the case. I love different angles that it offers and that the case doesn't interfere with the use of the device. Other cases have leather that goes over the edges of the screen while the Shield holds the iPad around the edges. The case is very durable and the pieces that hold the iPad aren't flimsy and don't bend.

The only thing that prevents me from getting my 5 star rating is the part about the closure not being stitched to the edge. I used some superglue to secure the edges, but it didn't really seem to make that much of a difference. It doesn't cause the iPad any damage or make the case hard to use... just a minor annoyance.

When the multiple viewing angles are used you do have to be a little cautious of how hard you press so it doesn't shift on the stand. Again not something that would prevent me from buying this again. Which I am doing to replace a case that my son doesn't like.

The case covers the iPad and looks great, but does not work very well when used as a stand. It will only remain standing if an extremely light touch is used on the iPad screen. Otherwise, it has a tendency to collapse.
