I'm really picky when it comes to things like carrying cases for my electronics. I looked everywhere for something that had what I wanted in a carrying case, and this is it! I'm so happy with this purchase!The case is nicely padded, and my netbook fits securely inside with the velcro strap. There's also a padded divider inside that you can adjust however you want (I use it to prevent side-to-side motion, and this also leaves a small section for the power cord to fit in nicely). There are several smaller pockets on the inside, and they're perfect for thinner items like DVDs, small usb adapters, or a few memory sticks. I also have an external DVD/CD drive (since netbooks don't have these drives), and if I don't overfill the inner pockets I can even fit the drive inside the case (in a bubble-wrap envelope), resting on top of the netbook.
I was having so much trouble finding a netbook case with a large outer pocket and a sturdy (detachable) shoulder strap, and this one has both! The outer pocket closes securely with the velcro tabs, so I'm not worried about things falling out. The outer pocket is good for storing the shoulder strap when not in use, and it's roomy enough even for a decent sized book. So far the zippers and shoulder strap (which is adjustable and padded!) are holding up very well. I also like that this case is available in several colors other than black, so it's easier to spot when you're in a room full of people using black carrying cases.
On a side note, I would like to thank the Seller for providing so many good images of the product so I could make a well-informed purchase. And the written description is very accurate with a good detailed description. (Unfortunately, too many sellers on Amazon provide inaccurate or incomplete information). The pictures look exactly like the item I received!
