iKeyboard: Touch-type on your iPad keyboard (white): For iPad 1, 2, 3 & 4

iKeyboard: Touch-type on your iPad keyboard: For iPad 1, 2, 3 & 4I received this items today with much anticipation, having seen it on the internet. I was not disappointed. Like my iPad, it is simple to use, yet elegant in design. No usb this, battery that, no wires, nothing. It is just an ingeniously great idea that plugs a huge hole in an obvious Apple assumption-that people will just love to type on glass. People who have suction cups on their fingers will not need this; only people who hate typing on glass. I like the feel it gives me and I love the ease in which it can be removed. Hey, guess what? No marks on the iPad! What black art has engendered such a contraption? Thank you, oh wizard, from the bottom on my fingertips to the summit of my cerebral cortex!

No batteries. No carrying case. No settings. Simple! The iKeyboard converts the iPad into a useful typing tool. After I tried one, I sent one to my 90-year-old father for his iPad. Since iPads aren't as big as full-size keyboards, your fingers have to spend a few minutes learning to be closer to one another to reach full typing speed.

For those that have tried touch typing on an IPAD, you know that it is just not possible. No place to rest your fingers, keys get hit in error, etc. However, in my mind, for a reasonable $35, I found that the IKeyboard makes touch typing a breeze. It takes a little practice, but once the "feel" is learned, the iPad takes on a new identity. I can now type without looking at the keys. A reasonable price for a great product.

I love this keyboard. I compose long essays using the "Pages" app on my iPad 2 and this keyboard increases my speed and accuracy. For the first time, I'm able to touch-type on an iPad. Plus, it adds no weight to the iPad, unlike my bluetooth keyboard, which makes my back pack as heavy as if I was carrying a laptop.

I was reluctant to get an iPad, but my family bought one for me anyway. Although I came to appreciate it, the one thing that was a problem was typing. I found the virtual keyboard to be difficult to use. I was always hitting the wrong key, or no key, etc. The iKeyboard solves all of that. It makes the iPad usable as a computer for typing, without adding bulk, a power drain, or much cost. The iKeyboard, together with all of the great office-use applications, allows the iPad to take the place of a laptop.
