Product does not work as advertised. By twisting the connection on both ends, I can get music to come out of the Bose Sound Dock from my iPad. But the sound can't be adjusted from the iPad and I get an error message every time telling me the cable is incompatible with the equipment. Glad it was only about $25.

I must admit I didn't give this a five star rating because I love the item but simply because it works and does the job it's meant to do. Unless it would fail to do its' job in the not to distant future then I would most likely want to change my rating as well as my opinion regarding this product. So far so good so I would have to recommend this product at this time.

the adapter is ok but the little one is just put together poor the cable has a lock and if you dont unlock it you can puul the wires from inside out of the socket mi phone was attach to the cord and fell of mi night stand and came apart

I bought it for my dad to play music through his Sound Dock from his iPad. It works amazingly as intended. Audio passthrough works perfectly fine, and it can recharge the iPad as well.
