At one point when I had visited this page, the RAM was listed at 1600MHz. Since then it has been changed to 1600MT/s (800MHz).

The RAM is indeed 800MHz, but it performs very well. I have no complaints about it. I currently have 2 of them, and plan on getting another 2. It's on the lower end of the price spectrum as RAM goes, but it's a good quality product.

The memory is a great value for the money. It does feature the external heat dissipating shielding pictured. It installed easily, and fit snug in the ram retaining clips. No problems with compatibility with the existing kingston ram which was stock from Dell. Great value, backed by Crucial's excellent warranty and customer support. It has been running more than a month now with no issues at all.
