It works, but it does have a few quirks. No matter how you connect it, it will act as a USB charger for the Sansa. However, to get it to sync as a USB mass storage device under Windows or Linux I had to first power on the Sansa, then connect the USB connector, and finally connect it to the Sansa device in that order. Only other issue I had was very slow transfer speeds, and it feels like cheap quality material. Overall, it does what it says it does and it is small enough to carry with my Sansa for mobile charging and syncing.
