I bought this device for $70 dollars on my birthday. Got it home and plugged it in and it connected immediately. It is shaped nice, with decent keyboard lay out, and button feel. Mouse L and R click are located on top. The Scroll is joystick oriented. Great idea. Horrible follow through. The pointer constantly slammed into the top and bottom of the screen, allowing me only left and right movement. In order to move the pointer up and down I had to find a spot on the joystick that resisted turning and grind it into that spot until it clicked. At this point it would allow me to move up and down normally for a random amount of time till it repeated to flee to the top and bottom of the screen.
In short.. not a good idea. Dont buy this.
Ps. I tried to write this review with it and gave up after 20 minutes of fighting with it.
Buy SMK-Link Wireless Ultra Mini Wireless Compact TV and Presentation Keyboard (VP6360) Now
I bought this from frys, and returned it. The joystick just wasn't working well with any member of my family. I have some senior citizens in my household, and they just couldn't work with the joystick.I ended up buying the logitech dinovo mini from amazon, and I would tell you that it is worth every penny !Pro: The ergonomics are pretty darn good. It fits in my hands, it feels sturdy, the joy stick and mouse buttons are easy to reach, and it seems to have the keys laid out well enough. On the one hand, charging via USB is nice (like other similar devices do), but I prefer how this one has removable AA batteries instead (having both capabilities would be the best).
Con: The keyboard DOES NOT WORK!! I am going to return it. If I try another, I will update my review if it works.
To confirm another reviewer's comment: the mouse joystick is VERY hard to use on small buttons. The slow speed described in the manual is too hard to stay in because it jumps into high speed at the slightest twitch. If it were easier to stay in slow speed, then the mouse would be fantastic.
It seems like the perfect remote for a HTPC; if only it worked.

I chose this keyboard because it seemed to be the most ergonomic to hold compared to the other small wireless keyboards Frys had to offer. It is actually pretty ergonomic but the problem is the joystick does not allow fine control of the cursor at all! i have tried setting the mouse speed on my computer to slow and fast and everything in between and I always overshoot when trying to move the cursor no matter what the setting. Its actually quite laughable to see me try to click something on the screen; sometimes it takes a whole minute just to get the cursor where i want it. And its not just me, my husband had the same problem. I will definitely be returning this.I use it to watch Netflix and YouTube videos on my TV. I've had this for several months and it works fine for me. Has a nice feel to it and is comfortable to use. Don't know why others are having problems. My PC is in the corner of my living room, the RF Sensor is about 8 feet from me and to my left and slightly behind me and I have NEVER had problems with the signal not working. The joystick is very sensitive and sometimes it can be hard to get the mouse pointer to the correct spot. However, I found that if you go into your mouse settings on your PC and slow down the pointer speed of your mouse that the joystick will be easier to use. Also on some websites where the buttons are small, I adjusted the zoom on my browser so the buttons are larger and easier to hover over.
It sure is nice to sit in a comfortable chair and control your PC!
