  • M-Edge's snap-in, ultra-secure molded mounting system holds iPad firmly in place

I purchased an Incline Jacket to go with my new iPad2. I love it (it was the only one in purple!) up to a point. The only way that I can have the back camera available for use, is to mount the iPad upside down. That's not good design.

While mounting the iPad upside down makes the camera available, it creates an awkward, non-intuitive interaction where I'm opening the jacket backwards to use my iPad. The M-EDGE product demonstration video (on the M-EDGE site) for the Incline Jacket is misleading. It attempts to show that mounting the iPad correctly will allow the camera to be available. A close look at the video shows the iPad has been remounted to the Incline Jacket upside down for the shot. Like I said, this is misleading.

Now, when I want to take a picture using the back camera, I have to completely remove the iPad from the Incline Jacket, take the picture, and then mount the iPad back into the jacket. Not at all an elegant process.

Apple has done their job to make the iPad2 a simple, clean, easy to use device. The Incline Jacket should be as equally easy to use.

I didn't buy this cover at Amazon because I found it on sale at a local store. I did purchase a cover made by a different company from Amazon and returned it because it was defective. I have a M Edge cover for my Kindle and I love it so when I saw the M Edge cover on sale I purchased it. I'm very glad I did. This cover is exactly what I was looking for. LIght weight and still gives my iPad great protection. The iPad snaps into the cover and the cover protects the corners. I doubt if I will ever need to take the iPad out of the cover. If you want to use the rear camera you need to mount the iPad upside down which another reviewer mentioned. I don't see that as a problem. The home button in on top when you open the cover but the only time I use the home button is to turn the iPad on. After it's on I use the screen gestures to go to home. The case looks and feels like real leather even though it's Microfiber and not real leather. It's very well made with no flaws in the stitching. If you want to use the stand to set your iPad on the table just flip the cover open and back and tuck it in. Very easy compared to some covers that make you pull out flaps and go through several steps to set it up. The only thing I would have liked to see different is the mounting method. My Kindle cover uses small straps on the corners and I prefer that to the plastic mounting system on the iPad cover but my iPad is very secure in this cover and like I said I doubt if I will ever need to take it out.
