Leather Case for HP iPAQ 200/210/211/212/214 Series - Flip Type (Black)

I gave the case 3 stars because it is nice looking, and it fits my iPaq 211 perfectly. The case's construction is excellent: every seam and access hole is perfect, and there isn't a loose thread anywhere.

Unfortunately, the material IS NOT LEATHER; the case is made of VINYL. It is a nice, soft, flexible type of vinyl, but it is vinyl. Eventually, it will crack along the points where it folds, on the "hinge" point for the top cover, and where the strap for the magnetic snap bends.

At least the manufacturer, "PDair," does not claim that the case is leather anywhere on the case or on the box in which it came.

Also, the seller, "Govamart," is located in Hong Kong. This fact was not revealed on the product page nor the seller's page when I ordered the case in May 2011. The case arrived well before the estimated arrival date and it was in perfect condition, but I would not have ordered this item had I known that the seller was overseas.

Overall the case is nice enough, and I can recommend it for what it is: a pretty, carefully constructed soft black VINYL case which fits the iPaq 211 perfectly. If you want leather, look elsewhere.
