I bought this attractive folio to protect my new iPad after checking out all the options at Best Buy. The standing positions are secure, the silicone case fits well and the overall size is acceptable. The bad news is the front flap does not turn my iPad on or off without a lot of finagling to find the sweet spot. Same with the older iPad 3. Works fine on the iPad 2, though. Unfortunately, I can't recommend anyone buy this for a newer iPad despite Tucano's claim this case is for 3rd generation.

I did some research and landed on I case that I thought was best for me the Belkin Cinema Folio: , however, when I got to Best Buy and I across the Tucano case and was really impressed with the texture and finish and the sturdiness.

The outside is a smooth material, it's hard to describe, but feels great to the touch. Also, it has a slimmer profile as compared to similar cases that are designed the same way. In addition, I find it is actually sturdier than the thicker counterparts.

The only thing holding this back from a 5* in my opinion is the fact that the silicon holder within the case is a bit lose fitting, but nothing that would cause worry that it could slip out, etc.

This case really sold me once I saw it in person. I recommend you do the same.
