I bought this case because I had a hard drive for my original release 360 and it got the RING and after looking around on the net I found that the bulky case that was on it was exactly that a case so I took my drive out of that case and put it in this case and presto it worked like a charm and no errors popped up on my new slim 360 so if you have one of the original release consoles I recommend this so you can transfer content with no cables.
