I've had two HP Jornada 680Es. The first died in a house fire. I purchased a second with the same excellent results. Love the Powerpoint and Word onboard. I wish laptops could connect to them because I don't always have a desktop with the right connector available. Still, it's a great item for anyone who cannot afford an ipod. I've tried one of those Chinese ipads that are less than $100 and they are a piece of crap. Finaly sold mine and now use the Jornadas, which is a giant leap ahead of China's so-called ipod/ipads. The backup battery does not last long, but 5 of them (again from China) are real cheap.However, I no longer buy anything from China because of the child slavery in that country as well as many other countries. Check it out before you buy and find out if the country and/or company contributes to child slavery.
