This actually works really well. I only wish the arm was a little bit longer! I use it when I'm in bed so I can read or watch movies without my arms getting tired from holding the pad all night. But I don't have a headboard on my bed, only a shelf to the left of it. The clamp works very well on the shelf and holds tight. But you REALLY have to crank down hard on the lever with the pivot ball and if you don't get it tight enough it will slowly slip down and down and down LOL! Sometimes I'm afraid I'm going to break the shelf off because I have to crank it so hard.

I love the fact that the 3 "joints" make it very maneuverable, but I wish there was an easier way to just push and pull it so I didn't have to adjust all 3 arms when I want to move it out of the way.

I do use it quite often though, so it was worth it.

I've had this product for about 8-9 months now and at first it seemed like a no brainier to get a product like this. I was practically shoving dollar bills in my cd drive to get it faster. It attaches to most all reasonable surface thicknesses and is really handy when it comes to watching movies or reading ebooks in bed. It was performing great up until 3 months ago when I noticed that the base of the arm was getting a little wobbly. I shrugged it off thinking that it wouldn't get worse over time. But I was wrong. My iPad met my new hardwood floor in the most unfortunate of events. It was enough to keep me from using it again.

This product is a must have for anyone who needs the wants to work on the iPad for an extended period of time. The product is easy to install on any desktop or table. Once the iPad is mounted, it can be locked into any position. Each arm joint has a locking ball head that allows you to easily move the ipad to any position you want. The only drawback is that the last ball joint is plastic and squeaks quite a bit. If you want to use your iPad to do real work, this is a must have.

It's a stand , i don't have a lot to say. It works.... just like most stands do. if your looking for a rope you should probably buy a rope. but if your looking for a stand then this is the perfect thing for you !!!!!
