Radio Shack used to make this type field microscope in the 90s. This chinese made product is so cheaply made that the battery compartment does not operate smoothly, almost to the point of breaking with increased pressure when opening. The rotating focus wheel adjustment is so poorly made that it rotates back to the starting point when arriving at the focused image. I kept these because it is the only model I have found that resembled the Radio Shack model both in design and price. It is really poor.

Bad purchase. Batteries would not fit into the designated place, and generally

cheaply made. Problems with the dealer in returning the product.
