I bought this case to specifically fit my Toshiba Portege R835 computer but it is TOO LARGE by about 1+ inch on top and 1/2+ on the sides. It is obviously not designed specifically for this computer.I want a neoprene sleeve that is a close fit for my laptop-so it easily slides into my messanger bag and leaves me plenty of space for books. This case defeats this purpose by being too big.
That said, it seems very well made, with thick egg crate neopene, and I like the extra pocket on the outside for the power cable. It should be advertised as a 13"-14" laptop sleeve and not one specifically for a Portege R835; that's why I only gave it 2 stars and why I am returning it.
The Built NY Cargo 11-13" Laptop Sleeve (Black) is a much better fit for my Portege, though it still leaves some space on the top edge. Compared to rooCASE however, the neoprene is not nearly as thick, and the small outside open pockets do not hold the power cord well.
