I purchased this in October 2010. Upon opening, the neoprene released so many VOCs, my entire first floor stunk intolerably. So I put it in my 3-season room to "air" for several months. It's no longer stinking up the house, but when I tried carrying it in my laptop bag, I could still smell it.
So...after six-months, I think I'm going to throw it away. I can't stand the smell, and frankly, the idea of what I must be breathing in is bad as well.
