The default published SPD speed is 1333mhz which is stated in their documentation and reported in your system BIOS. Over the past month, I found that manually forcing the speed to 1866 (letting the board set the timings) caused intermittent BSODs in Win8 64bit. However, when I set X.M.P. in BIOS I had no more issues.
Bottom Line: A very fast set of high density DIMMS that provide superior performance and look AWESOME paired with an Asus ROG motherboard (RED highlights throughout.)So far this is the best memory I have every bought for a pc. Finally the computer can read it allDual Channel on AMD Gigabyte Motherboard
Only problem is that it runs at 1333MHz instead of 1866Mhz.
Every time I try to overclock it, the motherboard changes it back to 1333Mhz because of some sort of failure....
Besides that, it works great. Great for RamDisk.
