I ordered this for my teenaged son who tends to be a little more careless than I'd like with his tablet. The case does seem like it would do well protecting the tablet. The sides are sturdy and there is even a small flap to cover the camera on the back.

However, despite the fact that it seems to fit the bill for toughness, my son won't use it because "it looks like a purse".

I have to agree that it sort of does when it is closed.

The leather seems a little on the cheap side. It looks fine, not plastic-y, but not luxury either kind of midgrade.
