The cable is an alternative to the original Samsung USB cable. This cable is slightly thinne than the original but works well. The orientation is not easy at first, as there is not any logo on the facing side when inserted in the mobile handset. It's a good companion at work if you keep the original cable at home. The price is high as there is not any alternative on the high street market. It's good to know that the iPhone, iPad USB cables are not compatible with Samsung Galaxy Tab.
