I have found that the pv-s400plus useful by means of the scientific calculator program provided as a bonus. The pv-s1600 didn't have the scientific calculator program. I'd have to learn C progrmming or owbasic programming to 'roll my own' scientific calculator and I'm not willing to invest the required time for that solution. Otherwise the increased storage and other programs are a plus.
