I would like to point that I use the stylus mostly for drawing, less frequently for taking notes. I've use my finger in all other cases, I just cannot get used to writing or drawing with my finger. I would never think of using a stylus to play a game, or in an application where reaction time was of importance.
I have been using this stylus for two and a half months now and have yet to replace the original tip. The tip still has the slick feel and still skates smoothly across the screen. The barrel is not heavy and a nice length for my medium size hand. The tip is more firm than the tip of the Bamboo stylus, so those with a heavier hand will not `bottom out' as easy. The tip is just a bit smaller diameter than the barrel, so you'd have to be writing at a very shallow angle in order to scrape the metal shaft against your glass screen. I have made scratches with other stylus where the shaft is much thicker than the tip.
I have but two suggestions/concerns, one of which I have found a solution. The first concern is where will I be able to buy more replacement tips? One extra tip is included with the stylus, but eventually I will need another. The second concern was the lack of a clip. I found a clip from an old drafting pencil (lead holder) works just fine.
Bottom line... For the price difference between this and other more expensive styli, this gem is definitely worth a try. I personally use this stylus more than my other more expensive ones. I hope this helps.Just as good as any other we have tried, feels good in the hand
ALL of these styluses that I have seen the tip rips in about 2-4 months, with this one you can simply replace it instead of buying a new stylus every few months.
Maybe some day someone will made a stylus that is perfect, doesn't seem like it would that hard to do but until then just buy the cheapest ones you can because none of them are all that great and none will last more than a few months at best.I have been looking for a stylus for use with my iPhone 4 for some time and had not found one I liked. I ordered this one in part because I like the thought of having a replacement tip. When it arrived, I decided to put it through its paces. It did, as expected, a fine job when using the virtual keyboard and when navigating the apps and online. What really amazed me, however, was that it performed very well when I used it to play Angry Birds and other games. This stylus has a nice firm feel to its tip and fits perfectly in the hand. I look forward to using it for some time. Now, if I could just figure out how to order additional tips when the time comes!The metal body is slim and high quality and reminds me of Exacto knife. Initially I was pleased with this for basic typing. It has a broad tip so it is easy to select characters. Also bought this due to option to replace tips.
Problems came up once I began using it for games where I have to flick keyboard. The tip is hollow and soft so it gives as soon as you put pressure on keyboard. Several times the tip gave so much that the metal of the body scraped screen. If not for screen protector it would have scratched screen.
Also, the tip is so thin that I've almost worn it out after only a couple days. Returning to amazon.
I don't recommend this because i think u could damage your screen.

A real solid feeling stylus, easy to grip, and a wonder to use. Love the capability to replace the tip, although I never seem to wear them out as often as others seem to do. Well worth the money IMHO
