I bought one of these for my 95 year old mother to use with her Kindle (obviously not this model but same make and style) and she loves it. Seeing hers I bought one for my I Pad 2. My daughter has passed on her I Pad 2 to me when she bought the new I Pad but her case would not let me stand up the I pad both vertically and horizontally as this does. Also her case did not turn off and on the I pad so each time I had to unlock. Not a giant deal but nice to have this feature. Only drawback to this is that it does not have a way to secure the flap. For me not a big deal but might be for others. As for me I am extremely pleased with functionality and with quality.

I looked and looked at the reviews for more expensive cases hoping to find one that would keep my screen from shattering. After realizing that none of them can guarantee such a thing, I opted for one that: 1) isn't terribly expensive; 2) covers at least all the top edges of the iPad even when in use; 3) isn't too bulky. This case does the job. The added bonus is the ability to stand it up both vertically and horizontally.

Very Durable. Nice case. I only gave 4 stars because it kinda blocks the camera and doesn't fit like it could.
