THe pastice is a brittle and borke easily leading to sync and charge problems.

The reason I purchased this item was because my mom just got her new Palm Treo 755p a few months ago and her hotsync capabilities were nil because she just realized her box never contained the correct cord. I bought this so she could connect her computer & phone for updates and contact info etc. but the only thing this cord can do is charge your phone through the computer rather than the wall. Not a bad product just not what I had expected.

Good price for the cable, however, there is a connection problem with the cable. Is does not seem to fit into the slots of the 755p snug. Sure you can plug it in but when you pick it up, the connection is lost. If you're wanting a sync cable at a cheap price this will do the job. Cable is about 6 feet long and includes a sync button.

This cable is not thae same as the original, but does work. Aparently it fits several Palm products. The data transfer has to be done from the phone, as there is no button on the cable. It charges good.
