Both products are simple to use and work very. The slow version MJ-1 is a serious tool to keep a computer awake and does not interfer with normal operation. The fast one MJ-2 is good for a joke. While it will also keep the computer awake it moves the mouse so much that you cannot use the computer at the same time the fast one is active.

You might also want to note that on the manufactures web-site they go for $17 each. On top of that you will have pay shipping. For Amazon Prime customers it is still a better deal threw Amazon than going direct.

This product does exactly what it says. You put it in the USB port and it moves the mouse around on the screen very very quickly. Each movement is probably about 75 pixels in a random direction and the mouse pointer jumps from position to position rather than moving from one to another.

If you are getting this item to play a prank on someone, it is great. If you are getting it to keep your computer from going to sleep and/or locking due to inactivity, you would probably be better off using the slow version. The slow version you can leave in the USB port the entire time and you will never notice as it moves the mouse 1 pixel at a time and about once every 15-20 seconds.

I was going to buy the slow mouse jiggler, but read a review that it will not move enough to keep your IM Communicator set at Green = Available. I purchased the fast version and it does the trick. The shipping was quick and affordable. I am remoteing into a work location desktop from a home computer, and the jiggler still keeps me active. Normally my IM will go half Green and half Yellow (Away) after 5 minutes. After 10 minutes, the entire icon goes to Yellow = Away. I put the jiggler on for an hour, and the icon stayed as Green.

Plug one of these bad boys into the back of your victim's computer when they go to the restroom, sit back, and watch the hilarity as they try to figure out WTF just went wrong with their computer.

For extra credit: When they leave their desk to get a second opinion, pull the jiggler out so that when they return everything is perfectly fine. Repeat as often as you can until caught.

The #2 jiggler provides very exaggerated motion, for those devices where the #1 jiggler won't keep awake. It is not for keeping plugged in while you are using a computer at the same time. Get the #1 jiggler (MJ-1) for that. Some devices that need to be kept awake while you are NOT using them require this exaggerated motion to prevent sleep mode--that's where the MJ-2 is great.
