Battery for Amazon Kindle, Kindle D00111

I was pleased that this battery looked almost identical to the failing one in my 1st Gen Kindle. The only difference was the wires, which were half an inch longer than the original. (About double) I used some care in folding the wires gently into the gap at the top end of the battery so the cover would fit back on, and it went back together fine. The battery fits exactly into the battery slot. It is all charged up and working great

In spite of a shipping delay, (not the sender's fault) the shipment arrived promptly as described.
