My wife got a Visor when she saw how much fun I was having with mine, and the desktop software is smart enough to know when she lays hers in the cradle and when it's mine. I like that aspect of things: No switching users, or choosing from a menu of names. Just drop your visor into the cradle and hit the hotsynch button. What could be simpler?

Although majority of the Handspring units come with a cradle. I purchased a second cradle for use at work so I can backup/hotsync my visor everyday in two locations(redundancy is good).USB connectivity is great, as long as you're running Windows 95B and later or Windows 2000. Sorry for the NT users, it's time to upgrade to Windows 2000.
Serial cradles seem to a bit slower, but it depends on how much stuff you hotsync.

My order which i had bought from this company didn't work(it was used) and the company stood up to it's customer service policy.I recieved my refund. I feel i had misjudged this company. I would do business with this company again and again.Thank youIt arrived without delay, and worked immediately using the downloadable software. I had an older serial cradle for a Visor Graphite, but needed a USB connection for use with a newer Mac laptop.
