This adapter does NOT work on the Ipad2 in spite of the description. The Ipad 2 will not recognize this adapter.

I bought this for my Ipad. I have the original Ipad so this was a great find for me . I wanted an easier way to upload pictures from my camera to my ipad. I don't have one of those cameras's that automatically post pictures online. I need to upload them some where usually my computer. But with this device it's incredibly easy to upload photos from my camera to my iPad, I plug in my camera then plug into my ipad. Upload the pictures and from there I can send the pictures on my ipad to my friend by email. I don't even need to be on my computer. It is amazing.
