I have purchased many small foot print PC's especially from HP (aka slimline models). I even contacted HP for a small footprint quad core PC. Keep in mind exactly what this PC is which is a small foot print PC with all the bells and whistles that a office or home office user will need. I obtained this computer at another outlet but wanted to say how happy I am with it. I am very "space challenged" relegated to a small corner of my wifes' sewing room. This smaller case fits nicely in a little niche. This is my 1st experience with Windows 8 and I find it a lot different from 7 but very usable. I am not a computer nerd but was able to catch on quickly to all the new options offered. This computer has plenty of speed, power and memory. My last computer hard drive was failing but managed to save most of my files and transfer them to this computer easily. Had about 3000 pictures to move around. I also have a Seagate external file saver, so don't think I will ever have memory problems.
