Pros:

The fit:

The fit is great, the nook actually slides in from the hinged side of the case and then velcros in solid. There is no way the nook is accidently falling out of this case.

Access:

The shape of the leather edge protection that holds the nook in place also has the proper cut outs to allow easy access to the power button, volume buttons, and mini-usb port. These cutouts are in the perfect locations. There are holes in the back that allow the speaker to be heard easily while it is in the case. The screen is easy to touch and I can get all the way to each edge without anything blocking any portion of the screen.

The quality:

The feel of the leather is great and the overall quality feels sturdy. The cover provides good solid screen protection when the case is closed up. I like the looks of the black leather; I can take my nook color anywhere now. It felt so fragile outside of the case that I didn't take the nook outside until I got the case.

Minor Con:

I don't like the snap that is used for securing the cover when closed. Not that the snap doesn't do what it is supposed to, it just doesn't feel like it snaps in that snuggly. I have never had a poblem with the snap, so this is really just a feel issue. Minor con for me.

I would definitely recommend this case based on the first couple weeks of ownership. I like this cover a lot.

I spent alot of time and effort trying to find the right nook cover and I finally found it. I love my black nook color cover. Leather, sueded lining, slides in/out and is just perfect in all ways. It doesn't cover any of the buttons and you can hear music or stories without a problem. Highly recommmend.

Excellent case, especially for the price. I've seen much more expensive cases that aren't half as nice. I've had mine for some time now and it still looks brand new.

"Buyer Beware, make sure you look closely at these pics, before buying. Huge CON (which I did not notice until received) the snap placement is Backwards. The case, when snapped closed & holding it, is actually where the back should be with the Nook speaker holes. Very disappointed even at the great price offered. I wish I noticed it before purchasing. "
