The gamepad is very nice looking, light and comfortable to grip. People that have big hands may want a larger controller like a xb 360 controller as this one seems a bit on the smaller side. Since I have medium size hands it fits great. The reason I got this pad is the steering(wheel?)controller around the d-pad, I don't like using the sticks for racing games or tapping the d-pad to steer. The little wheel works suprisingly well. The directions show you how to hold it but I found it better to use two fingers on it, thumb and forefinger on the tabs on the wheel. It takes some getting used to and is no substitute for a proper wheel, but once you get it figured out and configure the games steering settings it works quite nice. There is a little issue with the trigger not having full range, squeeze it 75% and it seems to give 100% throttle/brake. Also, the buttons (7&8) on the bottom are awkward to reach so I just don't use them. Overall the construction seems fairly sturdy, although the sticks do seem a bit more wobbly than other pads I've used, but they still work well and the buttons are all fully programable. One feature I like is a quick adjustment on the steering wheel. Simply pause the game, turn the wheel one way or the other and press a button and the wheel gets more/less sensitive depending on which you want. This is great if you're on track where the steering has too much under/over steer and you don't want to fiddle with the games steering settings. For people like me that actually like using a pad to race with I would definitely recommend getting this or one of the other Thrustmaster variants with the mini-wheel.

Great controller. Sensitivity surprised me, really good smooth quality, but the extra wheel is only good (really good mind you for F1 type racing) I use it for need for speed most wanted and other PC games. i love it!

It's a good remote control, so far I have not broken but it seems quite delicate in their materials.

It's comfortable and programs if not going to give them very intensive use can serve. I have not fully exploited so I can not vouch for its robustness.
