You can get the same quality from a $10 laser. The same or better for $15, and a really good one for only $40 (link below)
Lies you can see on the description:
* "this pointers compact on the go design ..." LIE! It is too long (around 10 inches)
* "provides 200 meters of daylight visibility" LIE! (during daylight it can get as far as 65 feet[20 meters])
* "2 mile nighttime range" BIGGEST LIE I HAVE EVER READ (I would say 490 feet[150 meters/which is the same as 0,124 miles]) really a LIE!
The dot is too dim to be seen at the distance and forget about the Beam you will never be able to see it
If you like I can suggest other laser:
5mw 532nm Military High Power Green Laser Pointer Pen
This one is actually a very powerful and very bright laser, you can clearly see the bright beam, it also includes the battery and charger. Is the best laser I ever bought, and is not expensive, is only $40
You can spend 100 dolars in this product and what you really get is just a lame $10 laser
Or spend 10 dolars in any other laser and get what you are paying for.
Or spend 40 dolars for a great product.
I'm just saying that I have a lot of lasers and this one has been my biggest disappointment as a buyer, I spend $100 and I was expecting something good and I get a crappy toy laser.

This laser is extremely well made, uses inexpensive AA batteries and has a continuous on/off switch. We bought it for our dog as she loves chasing a laser spot and our fingers were getting sore holding the button down on the other laser pointers. If you're looking for a bright, high quality laser, look no further!

this laser is really good! it is very bright and the battery lasts very long! i love how it is waterproof icjust received it a few hours ago i cant wait till its nighttime to try this thing out!! :D really recommend!!EDIT:
I recently noticed after two days of having the laser that the beam does not come out straight of the laser it goes out at about an 80 degree angle out of the tip... not sure if it is just my laser but i thought i should let people know that this might happen with your laser......
EDIT:
After about 3 weeks with the laser it has really started to get on my nerves that the beam will not come out straight.., as i've mentioned before it comes out of the tip of the laser at an 80 degree angle therefore making it a bit awkward to point with.. for this reason i am rrating this down to 4 stars.

^for those of you that dont understand i've made a "drawing" with symbols showing how the beam comes out when the laser is straight (ignore the dots)I had purchased a cheap green laser pointer (~$7 available on amazon) but found that that the on button was unreliable (pointer style) and the output was variable sometimes very dim and having to depress multiple times to get a useable beam. Also I found that the batteries would drain because the button would depress when stored in my shirt pocket. After 2-3 months it finally died. I work in an industrial environment (dusty, greasy and steamy) and thought something more robust for tracing pipes / pointing out equipment would be useful. This tool performed very well in the 2 days I've had it; however it is too long @ 7" to store in my work shirt pocket (1 AA battery would be better) and it is a large diameter (AAA batteries would allow to be thinner). I like the push button and the diameter does allow use with work leather gloves. Can discern of very high quality. Quick and easy on-person storage and access is my only concern. Comes with a lanyard but a belt carry case (like a flashlight) would be better.
