- Portable and adjustable height, to be used in standing and sitting position.
- Can be used as a laptop or study desk.
- Built-in Laptop cooling fan
- 4 port usb hub plus a stationery drawer
- LED lamp operated by usb power or batteries
The base includes 4 wheels for easy rolling and two of them can be locked so they don't roll to provide more stability to the workstation. The LED light can be powered with three AA batteries (Not included) which fit into a removable battery box. The LED light has an on/off switch on it and an adjustable goose neck style of mounting that makes it easy to adjust. It also stores under the worktop. The battery box has a jack on the side and it can easily be plugged and unplugged to change the batteries. The light can also be powered by connecting your laptop USB cable to the side of the workstation with the included accessory cable.
The drawer is a nice feature where you can store a pen, pencil, small stapler or staple puller, the USB connection cable and other office accessories. When you plug in the USB cable from your computer to the table top you are also activating a 4 port USB port multiplier so you can connect up to 4 USB devices to your one USB computer port. You should be aware that the power of the USB port and the communication speed is split between the four ports and under some applications it may not work if too many of your USB devices try to draw power from the one computer port. If your USB devices are powered by their own power supply (like a printer) then that is OK. If they are disk drives that are powered by the USB computer port there may not be enough power to support it. Drives that have their own power supplies are OK.
The assembly time was about 10 minutes and I used one of my own medium sized Phillips screwdrivers and the included Allen wrench that came with the workstation. The assembly was fast and easy. The sliding height adjustment collar was very tight and I got it lose without the use of a tool but it may be difficult for some people. I also wiped off the excess oil on the height adjustment post after I fully extended it to avoid getting any oil on my clothes or on furniture.
This is a very nice workstation and my wife immediately took it over. If you have a small room, a student or simply need a lower work surface to type on then this is a great product for you. I rated it 5 stars.
I was supplied a sample for test and evaluation and I promised to give a fair and honest review.

ASSEMBLYThis little desk came to me in a lightweight flat box. I couldn't tell there was a desk inside. Assembly was quick and easy with the exception of the screws on the wheelie feet. They need to go through plastic, which has indentations for the screws but no actual holes. That took a bit of strength, but the rest of assembly went smoothly and only took a few minutes.
ADJUSTABILITY
The knob and ring for loosening and tightening the desktop tilt and height are stiffer than I'd like. That's something I only have to deal with occasionally. After I get everything the way I like it, I just leave it.
The height is good for people in most chairs. Don't expect to use it on a barstool. It doesn't go up that high. Use it while on a couch or office chair.
WHEELS
The wheels are small and low to the ground. My first impression was I'd like them to be bigger so they'd roll well. After using it, I see the utility of low-lying wheels. They're low enough to slide under the couch so I can bring the desktop right up to me.
Rolling the desk around on carpet hasn't been a problem. If I need to take it any big distance, I just pick it up and carry it. It's so lightweight.
Two of the wheels have locks, but I don't use them.
LIGHT
The light works on 3 AA batteries. It hides underneath the desktop in a slot until needed. The neck is adjustable, but I wish it was longer. My left hand blocks the light when I'm working on the desk.
OTHER FEATURES
The fan and USB ports work off the power from the laptop. We get four USB ports.
The fan turns on automatically when connected. It's perfectly placed for a larger laptop. My husband's 17 inch laptop fills up most of the desk. The area where it gets hottest is on the left, which sits right over the fan.
My netbook is small and sits on the left side of the desk so that it also sits over the fan. I don't need a fan for the netbook, though. It doesn't get very hot.
I was hoping the USB ports could be used as a hub, but they are only to power devices. I tried connecting a flash drive and an SD card in a reader and the computer couldn't see them. I connected a USB powered fan, and that worked.
I'd prefer the ports be located on the right side instead of the left, because my netbook sits on the left over the fan, so there's more room on the right to sit my devices.
Lastly, there's a little drawer. I like the drawer. It comes in handy for storing cords, styli, and microfiber cloths.
OVERALL IMPRESSION
This is a nice little desk. It's good for us folks who like working on their netbooks while watching TV in the family room. I wouldn't recommend it as the only desktop. It's too small for serious work, but it's portable and small enough that it doesn't take up much room.

A couple of weeks ago, coincidentally, I ordered this computer table the exact same day a colleague of mine told me that he has a side business of importing various computer and architectural furniture from China.
The discussion turned to where he/ they'd market this dozen or so different styles. They are presently trying to negotiate their children's line with Rooms-To-Go. But, one in particular had caught my fancy and it relates to this desk that I'm presently reviewing.
***
They have a similar laptop/ tablet desk that with the exception of a bar that connects an (optional) seat, that configuration would cost $199 at RTG. This one costs only $30.

After unboxing, and glancing at the instructions for a couple minutes, the entire process took all of 10 minutes--from start to finish.
The part that you most have to be concerned with are the VERY small screws. A couple of times, they slipped through my fingers and it took kneeling on the floor and painstakingly staring at the grout to find them.
The table, the "main board" itself, has a workable area of 21" x 12" and a handlebar that can be used to lift or if you're using it as a makeshift drafting table: it can be used to control movement. The table itself is a beautiful, lacquered mahogany-colored. There's a side seam which could be there to cover a perhaps compressed, plywood or particle board construction. In any case, the entire table including the metal underside, legs and wheels doesn't feel to be more than 5 lbs. It's very light to move around and carry.
Built onto the table is a restbar, called a "baffle" and a fan which is to keep the laptop cool. On the left side is a reading light and below right is a small container.
The metal tube that attaches the table to the foundation bar has an adjustable bar that allows the neck to extend another foot.

I've had lapdesks with a fan positioned the same way as this desk and found this design not to be particularly successful in reducing a laptop's temperature. A more practical design would be to have a fan raise up from the back and direct the circulation into the laptop vent. This would flush the heat generated from the processors out and thereby lower the laptop's internal temperature.
You can always buy a clip fan from Walgreens for $10 and achieve the same goal.

All things being equal, this is a great laptop desk (or portable drafting table or portable lectern) that can serve many people from an additional executive furniture piece to a student's dorm furniture, to a space-saving computer accessory.
And, for only $30. Just can't beat it.

Bottom line: this provides a great value for the price. Lots of adjustability, decent construction quality, and nice looks.Full review: This is a great laptop workstation for when I want to use my laptop while on the sofa but don't want to use my actual lap top to hold it. It also is great for holding a tablet so I can view a video while eating without getting the tablet in harms way of some errant food.
Assembly was straightforward. Basically I just needed to attach the casters, the center pole and the table top. The only fasteners were 4 screws and 2 bolts, so it went together in just a few minutes. A combo allen wrench/phillips screwdriver is included, but I found it much more comfortable to use a regular screwdriver. The instructions were clear and easy to follow.
In addition to being a table, it includes a USB hub which is a very welcome addition. It also has a cooling fan built into the table top (USB powered from a laptop) and a LED light on a stalk (3 AA batteries needed, which are not included).
The table top, when fully extended on the center pole, is 30.5 inches tall; fully retracted it's 22 inches tall. More than enough adjustment room. The table itself is 15 inches by about 22 inches (measurements taken at the widest points). I had no problems using it with a full-size laptop and had enough room left over for using an external mouse.
The table top tilts and can be locked into any angle. It can also be placed in a vertical position to save space when it's being stored. When the top is in a vertical position the entire unit can be easily picked up and moved by using the built-in handle, which I found to be a very nice design feature. I also liked that there is a small cubby under the table top that is useful for storing cables and other small items.
The wheels are small, but I didn't have any problems moving the table back and forth in use on both a medium pile carpet and a hard floor. Only two of the casters have locks, so when assembling it, make sure the wheels with the locks are on different sides to ensure good locking performance.
The build quality is quite nice far better than I expected given the price. The legs and supports are all metal; the adjustment ring for the table height locks tightly, and the adjustment for the table tilt is easy to use.
The appearance is also quite nice. It looks more like furniture than my old one (which was all beige and looked like it belonged in a hospital). The cherry-colored wood-grained top looks nice against the black legs.
All in all, very pleased with this and would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a laptop table.
[The manufacturer provided the product for review]The Tsir Tech Laptop Desk is a little rolling work desk designed to use with a laptop. It has a very sturdy welded metal base that will slide under a chair or bed and a laminate top with a mahogany or aged cherry finish with overall dimensions of 21 1/4" x 15 1/2". The height, angle, and tilt are all easily adjustable but everything stays in place when in use.
The neatest thing is that it has a little 3-LED lamp on a short, flexible metal stem to light a keyboard or book plus a fan to keep a laptop computer cool. These can be powered from either 3 AA batteries in a removable brick or from a USB port. The fan comes on automatically when there is power available and the light has a switch and will tuck underneath when not in use. There are also 4 USB ports at the left side.
Another handy feature is a little drawer on the right side that is perfect for reading glasses, pens and pencils, or a remote control.
The desk comes unassembled and with a simple, illustrated instruction sheet. It took me under fifteen minutes to put it together but that included several minutes spent looking for the screws and bolts which turned out to be in the drawer--which seems so obvious now! It even comes with a combination Allen wrench-Phillips screwdriver so no tools are needed. Two of the wheels have locks and I put those at the back of the desk.
Overall, I am quite please with the quality, function, and appearance of this little tabouret and am enjoying using it.
