The leather case arrived well before the promised date, is well designed, fits the Epic 4G like a glove. The case easily snaps on & off the belt clip, rotates freely when wearing on my belt so the phone isn't constrained. The top cover flips under the body of the case and can be held open & out of the way with the snap. It's easy to access the screen or the keyboard and the camera, the charger and earphone plugs are all easily accessible. Considering the shipping was free, the case is a big value compared to what was available at the local Sprint store (lower price, more features). I'll be curious to see how it holds up in everyday use.

Trying to find a nice leather cover for my phone was tough. Once I found this one on Amazon, I ordered it immediately! I love it! It is excellent for many reasons. First you can open it to see who is calling and determine if you need to "answer it now" without having to pull it out of the case, which typically activates the touch screen and answers whether you want to or not. Secondly, the keyboard slides out without having to remove it from the cover as well. The keyboard is protected with a clear plastic shield to keep dirt, etc. from the keys. Basically, you never have to remove it from the cover unless you want to. It takes a bit longer to receive since it is coming from Hong Kong, but it is very well worth the wait.

I bought this for my wife's Epic 4g. It's a nice concept, which is why I thought it would be a perfect case. It did not turn out so well. First putting the phone in, I had to use more force than I cared to use on a 300 dollar smartphone. Second the clear plastic part that the keyboard "slides" in covers the whole keyboard. It didn't cause much of difference in the typing that I could tell, but the thickness of the plastic forces the two halves of the phone to separate unnaturally. If you are squeamish about manhandling expensive electronics don't get this. That's just my experience with the Epic 4g. Maybe it will be better for other models of phones that this case fits.
