The cable is extremely well made. Solid connectors and thick durable cable won me over even before I'd plugged it in. The moment of truth came when I saw the 1080p input register on the TV, running my computer resolution of 1920x1080 / 60hz in beautiful, responsive color. Everything from images to black on white text come through sharp and with no other issues.
This cable is a must-have for anyone connecting their HTPC (or any PC) to an LCD TV. Quality and bandwidth to handle 1080p seem to be no problem with this cable.

Needed a good quality HDMI/DVI cable for my plasma TV, but didn't want to pay for the Monster Cable hype. This cable works great and the quality is fantastic.I just upgraded my Dish service to HD DVR Receiver. My Panasonic 50" LCD TV (PT50LC13) is only equipped with a DVI and Component input for HD use. I tried Component input using my new HD DVR Receiver to my Panasonic. Picture was not as sharp, fuzzy and blurry on fast action scenes. I then tried the Sonicwave cable which converted HDMI to DVI. Still all digital. Wow! Picture was sharp and very realistic as HD is meant to be. For those of you with an older HDTV with DVI or digital input and not HDMI, this cable allows you to use the HDMI output from your receiver to your DVI input on your HDTV. Cable was excellent quality with gold plated connectors. Worked great straight out of box. Don't buy a fancy HDTV and then waste your money using the Component input. Use the Digital inputsYou will see the difference.Want C2G / Cables to Go - 40288 - 2M Sonicwave HDMI to DVI M/M Digital Video Cable Discount?
Have been using for more than 5 months now, and the cable works great. Heavy duty metal connectors with a thick cable. Computer to 1080p Toshiba LCD TV.I recieved a hdmi to SINGLE link DVI cable, i have found that certain links say that it is a dual link....it is not. the pin-outs are single link. Not that it matters much, as single link handles 1080p from the git-go.
I just don't like surprises when ordering online in terms of what the website/link/manufacturer states and what actually comes in the box. Online showed a dual link pix, when it is in fact a single link....
