As far as rubber-tipped styluses go, this one isn't bad for how inexpensive it is. I like how skinny it is and how small the rubber tip is compared to other products on the market. It feels a little cheap (not surprising for $10), but is overall very functional. The one issue I have with this is that the coating placed on the rubber tip meant to reduce friction wore off after about 2 weeks of moderate use in a college note-taking environment. Instead of gliding across the screen, there is definitely some drag that makes the stylus essentially unusable and I've noticed some smudges from where the rubber has come off against the screen. If you're only going to use this for some light doodling or swiping, go for it. If you are looking for a stylus meant for writing or intend to use one heavily, you might want to look elsewhere.

After using several styli including the original boxwave stubby stylus this product is by far the best for text. I take notes in Notes Plus. The older styli were simply too wide. The new skinny unit is thin enough so it acts nearly like a pen on paper. If you do alot of handwriting on the iPad screen you will enjoy the skinny.

After trying several styles, I found this one to be just right! I can hold the stylus as I do a pen, and my writing on the tablet is more like my handwriting. I do not need to readjust my hand or pen position to write.

Good stylus but over priced. Can't anybody make a stylus with a sharp point? This item should be priced at 3-5 dollars.
