While I have no fear of this breaking and sending my iPad to its doom, it does have some issues. First, it is pretty wobbly. the mount itself is stable, but the connection to the holder is secure but allows the iPad to wiggle from left to right. My iPad in vertical position also wobbles a great deal because of the weight. The holes in the side do not line up with the iPad's ports, so it can't use accessories or charge it in this position. This might be better for a smaller tablet, but I wouldn't recommend it for the standard size iPad.
