Also works great with the Acer Iconia A200, since the A500 is apparently discontinued (according to the people at Best Buy). This tablet is only slightly smaller than the A500, but still fits the 10.1" specs and case.

I received this case yesterday and put it on immediately. The fit is great. It adds a feeling of security just holding the Iconia with it on. It makes the total thickness like a basic portfolio. There are two hooks each on the top and bottom plus one on each side to hold the Iconia in. To use the multiple angled positions, you just need to release the bottom two hooks. Even with them released, I don't feel there is any chance for the Iconia to slip out. The side and top hooks hold them securely.

There are three slots in the cover of the case to allow the different viewing angles. This seems quite adequate to me. When not using the cover to hold an angle, it folds flat behind and is totally out of the way.

My only gripe about the case is the hook that holds the cover over the screen when not using the Iconia. I haven't found an easy way to release it to view the screen. It is pretty tight and takes a firm pull to release. It is also somewhat difficult to find the right place to pull.

One last note. The stylus included is more useful than I thought it would be. To me it was a throw in that I figured never to use. The really nice part of it is it doesn't leave finger prints! :-) The end has a soft rubber tip. It is probably the size of a finger tip and works fairly well. It does seem to take a little more pressure to activate the click but not bad. I like to be able to use my finger to make the page scroll quickly to get to the bottom. The stylus doesn't work quite as well for this either. Overall, the stylus is a nice add in.

While not being perfect, this is really better than a 4 star product IMO but thus the limitations of the system.

Quite happy with it. Thin enough so as not to make it too bulky.

It will slip out of the groove in stand mode if you jab it too hard. Pretty simple to compensate for.

Smells good too.

The iconia is a chunky tab. this case doesnt add much at all and feels good in the hand. Good quality leather. Not high end leather, but its good.

I am happy with purchanse only becasue it is the best offering out there, not becasue it is the ideal design for me.

Cons:

Latch to keep cover closed sucks. Its a piece of bent metal that doesnt offer any sort of reliability.

Corner coverage, at best decent, good for daily use. Wouldnt use it in industrial situations.

To keep the cover smal they lose tha bility for the tab to stand on the rear most noth (most upright) with any stability. On a perfect flat surface its ok.
