Despite its size, this keyboard is very well constructed. The layout of the keys is perfect and using it for about two weeks I think that I never typed a wrong key. I liked that for the three-finger salute (Ctrl-Alt-Del) it's enough to just press Function-Enter.I purchased the item for use with my galaxy note 2.It paired with my phone quite easily. One of the first things i really noticed was its shape. It has a design much like a dual hand held game controler, very nice feel in the hands.Plus it has too "side" buttons, very convenient. It is lightweight yet seems sturdy enough to take a bit of punishment; mind you i havent tried! A visual inspection reveals indications of a manufactuerer who pays close attention to production tolerences. The two piece casing with all of its ergonomicaly angled edges appears flawless. The buttons were a bit stiff at first, and loud! With use they have loosened up and quieted down. The backlighting feature is usefull, unfortunatly the bluetooth connection light is malfunctioning. It does not shut off after connecting;a painfully bright blue light stays on continuesly. I have dulled it with a touch of magic marker, lest my eyes be continuesly drawn to the blinding bright blue light. And yeah it is that bright! The touchpad is the reason I purchased this thing over its competitors,it works well.It is one and a half inches by one and a half inches. But thats the meaning of "micro",small! It does however mean that ofton more than one "swipe" is nesessary to complete the action desired. The battery seems to be a good one judging by the length of time in between charges.Overall its worth the money, even with the bright blue light!!Works as advertised quickly paired with Droid Razor Maxx (updated to 4.1). Very light weight, so easy to slip in a pocket. Key press is good with a solid "click" as you press. Reaching the H/J/N/M/Space keys are a bit of a stretch due to the track pad, but still quite usable. Track pad works well on Android. Key illumination can be toggled, which is a nice touch. I find the status LED's are a bit bright, but they are usually blocked by your hand as you type.
Side note, I just had to try to pair with Sony PS3. Initially, KB worked great. The system did lock up while using the navigation keys. I haven't played with the keyboard "modes" (iOS,Android/Windows) to see if that resolves the issue. I don't fault the engineers a bit for this as PS3 compatibility was never implied.I originally Ordered this for my tablet, but it's so versatile that I used it with my phone and television.
Pairing is pretty efficient. The tech is completely of good quality. The reason I gave it for stars is the size. I wish it was a little bit bigger.
I use bring it with me all around the house and It's completely usable with almost anything bluetooth. I'd recommend it if you have limited space. Although you may have some issues forgetting where you left it, because its so small!USING THE VIRTUAL KEYBOARD ON MY NEXUS 7 WAS GETTING OLD AND I FOUND MYSELF ALMOST DROPPING IT SEVERAL TIMES. I BOUGHT THIS RATHER THAN A KEYBOARD CASE BECAUSE IT OFFERS MUCH MORE VERSATILITY AND CAN BE USED WITH A MUCH WIDER RANGE OF DEVICES. THE KEYBOARD PAIRED EXTREMELY EASILY AND WORKS FLAWLWESSLY. THE KEYBOARD IS VERY LIGHT BUT DOES NOT FELL LIKE IT IS GOING TO BREAK EASILY WITHIN COMMON USE. I HAVE NOT GIVEN THE BATTERY A FULL TEST RUN, BUT FEEL CONFIDENT THAT IT WILL REMAIN CHARGED FOR MY INTENDED USE. I AM FULLY SATISFIED WITH THIS KEYBOARD AND HAVE NOT EVEN GOTTTEN FULLY USED TO IT YET. GREAT BUY.
