Motorola V9 MicroUSB to 3.5mm Headset Hands Free Adapter

Motorola V9 MicroUSB to 3.5mm Headset Hands Free Adapter
  • Original Motorola Adapter - model SYN2113
  • Adapts a Micro-USB Connector to your 3.5mm headset
  • This adapter is NOT compatible with LG Phones or Samsung with a micro-USB connector
  • Built by Motorola for Motorola phones ONLY
  • Enjoy handsfree audio through your own wired headset.

Well I guess it my own fault for not realizing that this was an adapter specifically for motorola. I tried using it on a samsung. Everything fit perfectly. Usb and 3.5mm headset but sound still came through the phone speakers. So only for motorola.

I looked for this adapter because a friend of mine has a Pantech Laser cell phone. It didn't come with headphones and has no 3.5mm jack. The adaptor was advertised as being caompatable. I'll never know if it works, because the micro USB is ONLY for charging. The only way to use headphones for music or calls is over bluetooth.

This product didn't work at all... i bought it to connect headphones with a 3.5mm jack to my samsung strive that only has a micro-usb slot. Didn't work! My phone didn't even recognize that this adapter was plugged in and it's not just my phone. I bought 3 adapters for the 3 phones we have and the adapters didn't work for any phone.

I don't know why this thing says it's for hands-free headsets. It basically allows you to connect standard headphones to a motorola phone. Pbl U9 in my case. I can hook my headphones (stupid motorola for not having a headphone jack on the phone!) up to this to use my PBL as an mp3 player. Sound quality is great.

Would have given it a better rating except for the misleading title. Hey Amazon! Clean this up!
