This is the 3rd case I've tried. I have shopped most of the the options at B&N and have been searching Amazon for a couple weeks now. I tried 2 B&N cases but returned both as they were flimsy, uncomfortable to hold, and there is no kickstand option available. I gave the JAVOedge a shot, and I'm loving it!

The soft leather with the tweed cover/back feels very high quality. The fit is perfect and the nook slides in easy, but is tight enough that I'm not worried about it falling out. The sleep and volume buttons are a little harder to push with the cover on, but this should be expected with most cases. The kick stand is great, and I love that it has snaps to keep it closed when not in use. There is a hole for the speaker with is much appreciated as typically will run Pandora while reading. But what I love the most (which B&N seem to have totally over looked in their design process), is how comfortable it is to hold! The leather is soft, and with the cover flipped back, the feel is solid, not terribly bulky, and there is no obstruction of the screen at all. The kickstand comes in handy, and the magnet to keep the cover closed while not in use is great.

I was completely excited about this case, it is exactly what I wanted, it has all the right openings for the headphones, charger, power and volume keys. I was expecting a black tweed material with black leather border.. and it turned out to be brown... but it actually works for me and suits me better... so I am okay with that. The nook fits inside perfectly and the kickstand is cool. I like the fact that it is very well protected in 95% of the edges and it still allows me to use a carabiner key chain. Overall very happy with my choice. Highly recommend it!!!

This flip Nook cover is just perfect in every way. I was not sure if I wanted a flip or book-type cover. However, when I read the other reviews about this product, I had to try it. The Nook slides right in and fits securely. The leather binding around the Nook gives it additional support. The leather is high quality. There is no bulk with this cover. When you flip it over to read it is slim and comfortable to hold. The material is soft and feels good in your hand. The kick stand in the back of the cover stays in place, too. When you pull it out to stand up on the desk, it sits firmly no give or bending. The color is more brown than black in appearance from the picture in the Amazon ad. The brown goes very well with the rich leather. Stitching is high quality, as well. The inside upper flap provides a place to hold notes and a business card. The bottom flap has a magnetic closure. All buttons are easily accessible. Price is reasonable, too. Very pleased with this cover in every way. Highly recommend.

I LOVE this case! It fits my NC perfectly and doesn't add a lot of bulk. You can even set the NC on a surface horizontally and it stands up just fine. My friend who has a NC had purchased one of the BN covers and paid almost twice what I paid; when she saw mine, she took hers back to the store and is now buying a JAVOedge!
