Simple; this remote works from the distance I need to use it from and doesn't experience the delay that the last one I had did. I am usually about 40 feet from the device.

Somewhat cheap feel, light thin plastic, but it works well. Good range from about 15 yards away, plenty big enough for a lecture hall. Laser works fine as well. This is the same product as the laser pointer which looks similar but costs a few bucks more and has many reviews. It's not the best presentation remote, but at this price it exceeds expectations and does everything it needs to.
