For the most part, the adapter charges my TF 101, well. Actually, it charges REALLY quickly, which I like. The downside though is that I'm not able to use the tablet while charging, unless I'm watching netflix, as the touch controls get really crazy while charging. To some this is a BIG negative, as the OEM adapter allows you to use the tablet while charging. For me, I take the 1/2 hour to an hour to charge my tablet and then use it. It's not a big deal to me.
Honestly, I would give the charger a 4 star, BUT, since the lack of tablet usage while charing may be a big negative for most, I took a star off.
I guess I got what I payed for and for me that was just fine as I was absolutely NOT going to pay $50 for another charger, just to have it possibly go out on me again like the original.
| UPDATE 1/23/13 |
After having the charger for less than half a year, I have noticed that the rubber connector that connects the cord to the power brick has begun to seperate, exposing the wires. This can be easily remedied by wrapping the area in electrical tape. Effective, but not cosmetic. I'll still leave the review at 3 stars, becuase I still like the product and it charges really quickly....

As some other reviewers have posted, the item powers the tablet ok but in my case when I am using my tablet and plug it in to charge the whole screen just freezes and you can't do anything about it. So, if you are ok just using it to charge by itself and then using the tablet, then it'll work, otherwise get the original. We got the charger, it charged the pad for a couple days, now it gets really hot and isn't charging at all.Want US POWER ADAPTER WALL TRAVEL CHARGER FOR ASUS EEE PAD TRANSFORMER TF101 TF201 Discount?
