Just like everyone else who is klutzy and owns a Nexus 10, I'm desperate for a tough case. Otterbox and iFrogz have declined, and no one is making a very good impact resistant case. This case does offer more protection, but mostly just because it is big.

The case comes in two pieces. The tablet slides into a sleeve with board support and a fleece-like back. The fit is good, and the cut outs are well done. A velcro closure slips behind the tablet and in front of the backing. I had hoped the sleeve edges would stick out further than the edge of the Nexus. The did upon install, but after a few day the material loosened. The second piece is a flat, book type cover and stand. A strip of high-quality velcro attaches the sleeve to the back. The case then bends and stands like most I've seen. There is a magnetic closure with auto on/off.

The velcro attachment is my favorite feature as it allows you can place your tablet to view at any angle and orientation. Also, you can place the tablet in the case so that edges will protrude further than tablet

There are no unique protections offered by this tablet, just bulk. In the sleeve only, your nexus will be .6 inches thick. Your Nexus 10 inside both pieces will be about 1.1 inches thick. At this point, my Nexus will no longer fit into the 10" padded pocket in my bag.

sidebar: Really? Adobe, Otterbox, and iFrogz, why are you doing this? It seems that companies who work well with Google benefit in the end.

I ordered this for a valentines present for my husband. Simply put, it's perfect. But Amazon requires a longer review, so I'll say it again, it's perfect ;-)
