This adapter works great to connect my handheld to my mobile ham radio 2m/440 antenna. The antenna was given to me and it had the standard so-239/ pl259 connectors with a 13 foot lenth, The Wouxun has a SMA jack, the short connector allowed me to use the antenna. Recommended if you have an antenna w/o an SMA connector and dont want to buy a whole new antenna

I use this adaptor to connect my UV-5R to my base station antenna as well as a yagi. The SWR did not change after the product was installed and everything appears to be working very well. The cable feels well made and is quite flexible.

The cable is a little light weight but it works fine. It is nice to be able to hook my radio up to my home made "J-pole" antenna!
