Purple Fish Bone Style Snap on Hard Back Protective Cover Case for HTC EVO 4 4g 4G

So I purchased this case for my phone because it appeared pretty sturdy with a hard plastic "fishbone" and a rubber glove that would absorb some impact. The second draw was the appearance of it, it didn't look like some girly case and was ambiguously plain. When the case came I was quiet empress with the materials right after removing it from the packaging. The hard plastic "fishbone" was not painted but indeed a colored plastic and the rubber glove looked thick enough to not tear after a few weeks of use. Now when I put it on the phone the rubber slid right on no problem and the "fishbone" is flexible enough to snap right over the glove. But it appears the glove is oversized and the "fishbone" will not cover the glove as expected. This means that there is some bunching up, the glove because not snug pinches under the "fishbone" and causes it not to fit tightly. So at any given moment one of the four corners is unprotected. This will probably lead to that corner of my phone getting damaged as it seems to never land flat on its back or face, it always lands corner down.

Overall I would say esthetically and economically this is a great temporary case for your EVO 4G... but long term I think I will have to find something else.
