Plantronics Spare M170 Headset CT14

The headset is comfortable and clear. My only complaint is that I've had to replace the headset 3 times in the last year and a half. I use the headset 4 days a week for work. It gets its share of use, but I would still expect the set to last longer. When I use the set, my phone set sits on my desk. I rarely clip it to my pocket or anything, but I seem to still get a short in the cord. The cost of replacing the set is minimal compared to neck pain of holding a phone between my shoulder and ear, but still I would expect better.

Well my Plantronics CT-14 has been a GREAT phone for my business over the last two years, with an unbelievable battery life! I've used Plantronics headsets in the past, but this one is the best.

Finally my poor headset finally started to short out on me, after the countless times the cord has caught on odds & ends while I'm working. If I would've realized before that the handset has a little clip on the back of the phone that would've prevented this break in the wire, I probably would not have had to spend the money on a new headset. But I'm GLAD I went with this seller! It came perfectly packaged in the OEM plastic with all the accessories that came with my first headset. So far, this one has a better pickup on my microphone which I can hear in my earpiece. My fiance even confirmed this for me. Overall, great purchase!

I would give this zero stars if I could. I can't hear anyone on this headset, just a constant pulsating feedback. I've never received a good Plantronics replacement headset. I don't know why they just can't get it right.

I have been using this telephone and headset since March 2010. I had to buy three additional headsets already because the headset's wiring is of poor quality. The wire connecting the headset and the handset gets broken from inside. It is highly frustrating. The set is very good, and I hope the company takes note and improves the connecting wire.

I purchased this June 5th, this is like my 5th replacement headset, and I already have to buy another one... what is with the STUPID wire/cord whatever on this headset!???? The phone is pretty good and functional, but if I had to do it all over again, I WOULD NEVER buy this product again, and I do have a VERY long relationship with Plantronics, which is why I purchased this setup when I started my own home business... but OOOOHHHHH The regret.... never again!!!
