Highly recommended. Did a lot of searching for this item and am very pleased with both price and performance.Had it for two years now, works very well, but recently the audio cable broke at the junction with the power cable and had to fix it myself cutting inside the wires. If you are not skilfull about that, you would loose it. Manipulate it with careEverything is good so far. Sound is satisfactory. Like another review stated, the device does have a hissing noise of sorts when playing music and charging at the same time. This would obviously be disappointing for someone who/whom drives and uses their cell phone often.I bought this radio transmitter over other transmitters (and decided to spend more) because of the charging capabilities however the phone cannot be charged while playing music without the music sounding terrible. The sound gets fuzzy and there is a high pitched ringing sound. The sound is good when just the audio jack is plugged in and it works fine as a charger but I am disappointed that I can't charge and listen simultaneously. At this price you might as well buy a really cheap charger and a cheaper fm radio transmitter because you have to use this one separately anyway. I have the htc inspire phone where the charger and audio jack is next to each other which I thought was the problem but the same disruption happened on my boyfriends phone which has the charger on one side and the audio jack on the top. Overall it's fine and will work but I do not recommend this product if you're paying more than $15 because you can get 2 separate pieces at that price or a different (and hopefully better) transmitter/ charger.

The first transmitter I bought got broke then I had to buy a second one.I still would give this FM transmitter a five star tho. Quality is decent. I have been using the second one for about a year now with no problems at all.
The sound quality is a lot better then most of other FM Transmitter.
One advice: make sure the media volume on your device ( phone , etc.. ) is all the way up before you use it.
