The ZOOM 4314 USB Adapter is a very small usb adapter that will enable your laptop to have wireless bluetooth abilities with very little fuss. The adapter is able to be turned on, or off as needed and has an outstanding range. It is probably the easiest way to convert your laptop to bluetooth abilities. Installation is quick and easy and most computers will recognize it quickly. I installed it to use with my Skype service and it works very well. For the cost this adapter is a very good buy and is one of the more powerful adapters on the market. Highly recommend it for people looking for a way to add bluetooth capabilities to their laptop. Works with keyboards and mice also.

I am thrilled with this adapter. It is the full retail version not some non-OEM knock-off that does not include any software or drivers (and trust me you need the drivers & software to get all the features working) like many other sellers are pushing for a few bucks. This is the real deal and includes a copy of Bluesoleil BT management software which is dialed in for this adapter.

This adapter works great with my Motorola S805 BT Stereo Headset. It works fine with Skype as well as streaming audio to the headset. One caveat is that you need to remember if your BT device is not a Class 1 device then your range will be less for VOIP or other audio input needs. I can LISTEN to audio for almost the full 100m with no walls in between. But transmitting back to the system stops after about 20'-30' indoors. I can live fine with that range. But just remember the limiting factor is always going to be the device with the shortest transmission range.

My only concern is losing the darned thing!! It is teeeeeny which is GREAT it stays out of the way on my laptop.

Amazingly quick to ship...had it almost "before the check cleared"...;) Works like a charm with my Motorola S805 BT Stereo Headset.

I bought this and had a lot of issues with the driver under Windows XP. I used it to interface my desktop to some Sony headphones. When I turned on my headphones, it was about 50 / 50 that the driver would correctly switch from speakers to the headphones. A big PITA. When I upgraded my OS to Windows 7, it became rare that I could get the headphones to work at all. If you go to the Zoom (Blue Soleil) website to find an updated driver, they will offer to sell you new expensive software.

Rather than spend more money on this just to get a decent driver, I instead bought a Medialink USB adapter. That product has worked perfectly every time under Windows 7. I would advise you to buy the Medialink adapter.

I would recommend this as the it is Class 1 rating and will improve the range of transmission/reception of the Bluetooth signals.

I bought this to work with my Turtle Beach PX5 headset. In general the product works, just not quite acceptably. I'm able to use it with my headset and my Logitech DiNovo Keyboard.

My biggest complaint is that it "loses" my keyboard signal from time to time (it's already happened twice while typing this review). I'll be using my touchpad, or typing and the cursor will freeze, then after a second or two, all the keys come rushing back. This happens quite frequently, like every couple of minutes. I did not have this problem when I was using by bluetooth adapter that came with the keyboard.

I switched to the Zoom bluetooth adapter because the dongles would "battle it out" for signals and the Zoom would often overwhelm the Logitech Class 1 receiver. Also, the Logitech dongle would interfere with the headset and I would hear static.
